This policy is a launch-ready template and must be aligned with the exact SDKs and data flows in the production build before publication.

Information we may process

Depending on enabled features: account identifiers and email address; approximate or precise location when permission is granted; app activity and preferences; device/app identifiers; crash and diagnostic information; notification tokens; purchase/subscription entitlement status; and referral information.

How we use it

To operate Eclipse One, personalize eclipse visibility, synchronize preferences, deliver notifications, manage referrals and ad-free entitlements, maintain security, diagnose technical problems, improve the service and display advertising where applicable.

Firebase and Google services

Eclipse One may use Firebase Authentication, Firestore/Realtime Database, Cloud Functions, Cloud Messaging, Crashlytics and Analytics. Only services actually included in the released build should be declared here and in Google Play Data safety.

Advertising

The free version may display advertising. Advertising SDKs may process advertising identifiers, device information and interaction data subject to consent requirements, platform rules and provider policies.

Location

Location may be used to provide local eclipse visibility, sky information and related planning features. Users can control location permission from device settings.

Payments

Android purchases may be processed by Google Play. Eclipse One does not store full payment-card details.

Retention and deletion

Personal data is retained only as needed for the stated purposes or legal/security requirements. Users can request deletion through the app or the account deletion page.

Children

Eclipse One is intended as a general-audience astronomy service and is not specifically directed to young children. If the target audience changes, child-directed design, consent and advertising requirements must be reassessed.

Third parties

External map, weather, travel, news or other providers may have their own terms and privacy policies.
